IMA Scholarship

IMA Members & Guests,

In follow-up to our April educational dinner (ie, “CMA, Career Planning, & Scholarships” by Yimo Liu, Alex Matlock, & Peter Smith), we want to give each of you the opportunity to donate to our IMA chapter’s WSU-TC endowed scholarship, or if you prefer, to our CBC endowed scholarship. Educational Luncheon Coming Up!

Our next Educational Luncheon is coming up soon! It will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in the Basalt Room at Gesa Credit Union, 51 Gage Blvd, Richland. 

The speaker for the luncheon is Richard Waddle, Senior Vice President of Finance and Marketing at Gesa Credit Union, with the following topic: "Financial Presentations with Prezi".

Spring 2017 Seminar 2

Please join us on April 22, 2017 for Seminar Two. Networking is at 8:00 am, with the Seminar following at 8:30 am—10:30 pm.  
We have Barry Nathan from IMA's Technical Standards and Practices Committee to share different IT department issues, problems, and solution from the perspective of the IT and Finance Manager. Get a total of 2 CPE's for attending the sessions!

Our Spring Seminar is coming up!

Please join us on April 21, 2017 for Seminar One. Networking is at 7:30 am, with the Seminar following at 8:00 am—5:00 pm.  
We have three great speakers! We have Dr. Donna Paul presenting "Discounted Cash Flow and Multiples Variation", John Pollara presenting "Leading Change", and Kim Wallin presenting on Ethics. Get a total of 8 CPE's for attending all three sessions!

Calling all Cougs!

We are hosting a pizza social this Wednesday, March 30th at 5:30 pm for current and future WSU students in the Tri-Cities area. We'll be having fun and chowing down at WSU's West Bldg in Room 240. Come network, meet new people, and enjoy pizza while learning about the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential and how it can impact your future.

Please join us for our first volunteer event to support our community and Second Harvest (Help the Hungry Morning Sort) on Saturday March 26th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Second Harvest relies on volunteers to help sort and repackage food for distribution to area food banks and meal programs. Last year, Pasco center distributed 6.9 million pounds of food to the network of 65 area food banks and meal centers.

Important reminders:
1. Volunteers must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult.
2. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to event if possible.
3. Closed toed shoes are required.
4. Volunteers must be ambulatory or otherwise mobile for warehouse activities and able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Location: 5825 Burlington Loop, Pasco WA 99301

Directions: Heading East from Pasco on 1-82, take Exit 14, then Exit 14B toward Spokane, merging onto Highway 395 North to Spokane. Drive approximately 3 miles on Highway 395 and turn left onto W. Foster Wells Road, which is a crossroad. Drive past Pasco Processing (on the left) and Second Harvest is the next building on the left. To get to the parking lot, drive past the building and take a left onto Burlington Loop.
